Hi new friends!! We’re Em and Zach, the “E” and the “Z” here. We’re two empty nesters, building our real estate dream on a really thrifty budget while doing most of the work ourselves. Our goal is to encourage you in your own real estate journey as we share our stories and time-saving tips along the way. Let’s create something amazing to pass down to our kids and future grandkids!
The name. I know it’s cheesy, and I can barely stand it when people refer to themselves by a single initial, let alone sign their “couple” initials on cards and such, so this is breaking a big rule for me but I just kept coming back to it. 🙂
We’ve been married 24 years, and since day 1, when we accomplish tasks together, whether it’s something small like painting a room in the house or tackling a bigger parenting situation, Zach high-fives me and says, “EZ does it” and I usually shake my head and laugh because it’s so darn cheesy but honestly, his level of commitment to it is really sweet.
If you know him, you know that he’s full of ALL THE dad jokes, and since he’s the one that holds our entire family together, and the all-around best, I thought he should be the namer of our blog. So now we’re here being super cheesy together, on the internet, and it just fits.
